Melicent Turner Sampler

Melicent Turner is the first reproduction from Little House.  While it is a reproduction of the original design (which includes ALL of Melicent's mistakes), I did change the colors.  The original was very faded and used even fewer colors than I did so I spiced it up a bit.  The full sized photo is coming soon.

The pattern is finished, framed, packaged and ready to ship mid-June!
I am NOT going to quit designing but I have to admit that stitching this sampler was a LOT of fun!!

Colonial Welcome

You may remember the little lesson on French Knots.  "Colonial Welcome" is where those photos came from!  This design along with the ornament shipped to our distributors yesterday so you will see the pattern in stores beginning next week.

Gardenias!

You may remember me mentioning that we had an unusually hard winter here in the southwest.  However the cold didn't have a negative affect on our gardenia bushes.  They are just beginning to bloom and as you can see in photo three, there are a ton of buds!

Now if only the wind would calm down.

Silent Night

Here it is. . . . ornament #5 in the 2011 releases.  It ships along with Colonial Welcome mid-month. Vonna finished it with cinnamon sticks that pick up the brown house coloring in the center and along the vine.  And it smells good too!

The weekend in pictures

I was glad I had my camera with me this weekend.  Color, color, everywhere!

It was a beautiful weekend.  A bit windy but not hot for a change!
